Morrisville State College recently announced the students who were named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2017 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve an average of 3.0 to 3.99 for the semester and complete 12 credit hours.
Medaille College has named the following students to the Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. Students that meet the requirements of a minimum of 12 credit hours and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for all credit hours carried during that semester are placed on the Dean's List.

Over 60 students participated in the 17th Annual Dance Marathon at Baldwin Wallace University. Dance Marathon is the largest philanthropy organization on campus. Lasting 12 hours, the marathon consists of performers, dance and HIV/AIDS education. All proceeds are donated to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, which seeks to educate and reduce the the transmission and cases of pediatric AIDS worldwide.

Thirty-nine compassionate Baldwin Wallace University students made a difference by volunteering at four diverse destinations during 2017 winter break. The BW Alternative Break service program gives students the opportunity to spend their breaks helping others. Each experience is led by a BW student with support from a University faculty or staff adviser. Student volunteers traveled to San Antonio, New Orleans, Chicago and Providence, Rhode Island.

Major General Anthony P. German, the Adjutant General of New York, announces the recent service accomplishment of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their initial commitment to serve community, state and nation. The newest Citizen Soldiers to complete Army basic combat training and advanced individual training were welcomed to their units during a New York Army National Guard battle handoff ceremony. The ceremony marks their completion of the National Guard Recruit Sustainment Program, a preparatory training program that provides new recruits with training, lessons and skills to excel at their initial military training. The New York Army National Guard welcomed 111 new Soldiers to their units during the May 21 ceremonies around the state.
Nearly 250 SUNY Potsdam students completed internship placements at companies, non-profits or campus departments in Spring 2015. SUNY Potsdam's internship program places students with employers whose interests align with their studies. Each student intern has a faculty sponsor, and earns between 1 and 12 credits toward their degree requirements.
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named 46 SUNY Potsdam student-athletes to its Commissioner's List for the Spring 2015 semester, the conference announced Tuesday, June 16. Players named to the commissioner's list have a minimum 3.3 GPA based on three semesters at Potsdam.
The State University of New York Athletic Conference has announced that 79 SUNY Potsdam student-athletes competing during the winter and spring sports seasons have been recognized for their academic success during the Spring 2015 semester. The SUNYAC All-Academic Team includes players maintaining a minimum 3.3 GPA for the semester.
